Scott Long found a slice of heaven at Joshua Cup. He started as a customer, but later joined the company as a managing partner and he expertly handles the lunch counter. A former minister at High Point Baptist Church, Scott says there is no such a thing as a secular job. He describes the environment at Joshua Cup as culturally cool and spiritually relevant. It’s a place you want to hang out.
Scott says Macon has enough churches, more per capita than any other Georgia city. Joshua Cup wants to be a bridge for the community. “There is a lot of diversity, but not much unity, and food breaks down a lot of walls. Just like a good cup of coffee.” So, grab a sandwich and say hello to Scott. It’s not everyday the preacher has you over for lunch.
